Membership and Plot Rentals

We offer tax-deductible garden memberships at various levels, beginning with a basic membership of $25 per year. All memberships entitle members to rent a garden plot (provided one is available) for an additional $25, which, because it is a fee for service, is not tax-deductible.

As shown in the layout below, we are planning to construct 4×10 plots with 4-ft-wide mulched paths between plots.  Four of the plots will be used to raise produce for a food pantry, leaving 52 rental plots.

Becoming a Member

The Henderson Park Community Garden is being established and operated under DeKalb County’s Garden in the Parks program, which is managed by the Natural Resources Management Office (NRMO). The county requires all members to sign county forms in addition to the HPCG form. Consequently, each member must sign 3 forms.
